Although we have many successful projects within our portfolio, this one has to be at the top of the list, due to the way the project was designed and managed.
Not only did we handle the concept design, planning and building regulation work, but we also handled all aspects of the design process,
Including M & E, Topo Survey, Structural design and even the steelwork detailing.
With all the work being done within one office, there were no conflicts in the design that couldn’t be resolved in the shortest time possible, because there were no emails to send or phone calls to make, no meetings to schedule. Waiting times were reduced and thus the project was very cost effective and the construction process was smoother with less hold ups and confusion between individuals in the design team as everyone was singing from the same hymn sheet.
With Midas running their own project management team, we were then only required to attend site on a minimum number of occasions and for a small amount of time, again reducing costs of Architectural services.
